States Moving to Demand Accountability in Sex Abuse Cases

Colorado is not the only state moving forward to uncover sexual abuse crimes. NJ, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and now New Hampshire legislatures are considering bills that require reporting of suspected sexual abuse. In New Hampshire, HB 1127 is being re-introduced with no reporting exemption for the confessional. These are good moves, if passed and signed into law, that would help sexual abuse victims recover and prevent further abuse in the future.
